Animals

Animals have always been some of my favourite subjects to draw and paint. Whether working in charcoal or oil, I’m interested in capturing the character and quiet personality that makes each animal feel distinct. Some are carefully observed, others drift towards something more expressive, but all begin with the simple idea that animals make excellent artistic collaborators, even if they’re terrible at sitting still.
