Make a Masterpiece, Blame the Dog

Okay so I built a thing.

I wasn't planning to. I sat down to do something sensible but can't remember what now, and instead I ended up making a little collage machine that lives on my website. You drag pictures around, you scribble on them, you make a mess. That's the whole thing.

There's a pile of bits and bobs to drag on, a mushroom, a little mountain, a happy looking dog, that sort of thing. If you find the choice too overwhelming to know where to begin (relatable), there's a Lucky Dip button that just throws random stuff at the canvas for you. Sometimes it looks great. Sometimes it looks like a fever dream. Better than a blank canvas judging you though.

You can spray paint on it, add big shouty headlines, stick washi tape everywhere. There are these paper-texture options too so your pictures look photocopied or torn out of a glossy mag (that part took me way longer than I'll admit and I'm quietly very proud of it). There's a cardboard background with a little shipping label on it that says it's headed "West of Timbuktu." No reason. It just made me laugh at the time and now it's permanent because I forget how to change it.

When you're done you can download whatever you've made. It's got a small watermark on it. I'm not going to tell you what it says. You'll find out. It's stupid. You'll like it.

Quick heads up, it's very much a sit-down-at-a-proper-computer thing. On your phone it works, technically, in the way that a spoon technically works as a shovel. Grab a laptop if you can.

Anyway. It's there, it's free, go break it.
