Sneak Peek at My Next Project

I’m about a third of the way through my next project and it’s a cool one.

As you can see I’m collaging every card in a deck of playing cards. It’s not a super original concept but my approach to it will obviously be different to anyone else.

I’m trying my best to keep them legible but can already see a few issues I’ll need to fix up.

this is proving to be an invaluable project for discovering a variety of techniques. I’m trying to make each card different but can feel myself wanting to repeat things I’ve already done. I guess some of that is just my style but some of it is just me veering towards comfort and away from experimentation.

On the upside, playing cards aren’t super expensive so if I do mess one up royally I can just grab new pack and give it another shot.
